She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Dooley and Goldie Dooley; her siblings, Gwen Dooley and Carlton Dooley; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Dooley and Mike Blankenship; and her nephews, Tommy Dooley and Todd Dooley.
She is survived by: her husband Elijah Burke; her sons, Kevin Tyler, Christopher Tyler (Michelle), Chandler Tyler (Crissy) and Mark Burke (Dahlia); her siblings, James Dooley (Norma) and Vickie Blankenship; Patsy. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
