He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Wade and Elizabeth Wade (Johnson); his son Brandon Wade; and his siblings, Amelda Johnson, Cornell, Maurice and Verona Wade.

He is survived by: his son Dustin Wade; the mother of his children Sandra Wade of Bluefield; his grandson Kamari Irby of Stockbridge, Georgia; his siblings, Robert D. Wade of Gary, Celeta (Dennis Harris) of Charleston and Keith (Seaondra Wade) of Charleston; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Johnson of Chicago, Toni Wade of Toledo and Jennifer Wade of Greensboro. He is also survived by nephews and nieces; many cousins, co-workers and friends.
