She was predeceased by : her parents, Jefferson Gillispie and Mattie Jane Gillispie; her husband Frederick Martin; and her siblings, Marie Hurt, Velma Bradshaw, Nancy Bradshaw, Gwendolyn Goforth, Yvonne Shanklin, Betty Sales, Mattie Jane Gillispie, Robert Gillispie and Donald Gillispie.
She is survived by : her son Darrin Martin (Serena) of Bluefield, VA; and her grandchildren, Darrin, Chloe, Caitlyn and Ty. She is also survived by one brother-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
