It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Byrd of Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Byrd to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raleigh Woody and Ruby Stowers Woody; and her siblings, Peggy Burnopp, Goldie Jarrett and Virgil Woody.

She is survived by : her husband Brady Byrd; her children, David Byrd of Aylett and Virginia; her grandchildren, Sean Byrd of Aylett, Virginia, Elizabeth Byrd of Richmond, Brandon Byrd of Thomasville, NC. and Seth Byrd of Thomasville, NC.; her siblings, Kenneth Woody (Jane) of Ceres, WV, Jimmy Woody (Bonnie) of Bluefield, VA, Freda Coomes of Lashmeet, WV and Freddie Woody (Karen) of Bluefield, VA; and her niece Patsy Woody. She is also survived by Nephews and Nieces.
