We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, at the age of 92, Elvira Virginia Rogers of Bluefield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Emeroid Campbell and Rosa Carter Campbell; her husband James Edward Rogers, Sr.; her grandsons, Raphael Rogers and Ryan Rogers; and her siblings, Helen Woody, Lucy Thompson, Winfred Campbell, Elmer Campbell, Robert Campbell and Jampsey Campbell.
She is survived by: her sons, James E. Rogers, Jr. of West Chester, OH, Larry Rogers (Janet) of Harrisonburg, VA and Stanley H. Rogers of Fredericksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Lauren Rogers, James E. Rogers, III and Jamie Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Sebastian and Lawson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens (6605 New Hope Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
