He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert Campbell II and Annie Lucille Gunn Campbell; and his son George A. Campbell IV. He is survived by: his sister Sandra Lilly; his wife Shelby L. Campbell of Bluefield, VA; his children, Michael A. Campbell (Keren) of Miami, FL and Pamela Johnson (Michael) of Bluefield, WV; his sisters, Constance L. Bratton (Michael Bratton) of Bluefield, VA and Zandra Sheffield of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Katherine Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Elisabeth Campbell, Jessica Bailey, Jordan James, Mikayla Johnson and Taylor Lambert; and also Patricia Jones (John) of Macon, GA. He is also survived by Five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
