Grace Craighead Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Sr. and Nannie; and her siblings, Overseer Benjamin P. Brogdon Jr. (Lillian), Elder Lewis O. Brogdon Sr. and Bishop Izalliar Brogdon Dalton.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Craighead Jr.; her children, Evangelist Monica R. Craighead of Bluefield, Alicia D. Craighead of Bluefield, Kevin R. Craighead of Bluefield and Gerald E. Craighead of Bluefield; her aunts, Mother Lottie Joyce and Mother Pat Joyce; her sisters-in-law, Prophetess Earleen Brogdon, Cora D. Robinson, Elizabeth D. Craighead and Shirley A. Craighead; her close friend Darlene Thornhill (Church); Deacon Robert E. Brogdon Sr. (Helen) of Welch and Elder Bonita G. Mitchell of Charleston. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church (104 Park St, Bluefield, WV 24701). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (6605 New Hope Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
