He was predeceased by: his former wife Patrica Hagerman; his daughter Patty Lucas; his son-in-law Calvin Lucas; his granddaughter Samantha Lucas; and his siblings, Jack Hagerman, Judy Carol Lowe and Yvonne Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Martha "Nellie" Hagerman; his children, Herman Hagerman (Morgan Hagerman) of Kidron, Josh Hagerman of Belfry, KY, Sherry Payne of Falls Mills, VA, Debbie Reed (Mikki Reed) of Lexington, NC and Margie Kelly of Salisbury, NC; his siblings, Larry (Kathy Hagerman), Leonard (Eva Hagerman), Bruce Hagerman of Bluefield, WV, Dwight (Donna Hagerman), Glen Hagerman of Rock, WV, Ann Lee of Roanoke, VA, Agnes Duncan of Roanoke, VA, Charlene (Robert Taylor), Margenna Rash (Randy) and Donna Kennedy of Roanoke, VA; and his close friend Meggan. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Douglas Mortuary Chapel (157 Wyoming St, Welch, WV 24801). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
