It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Honaker of Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie James and Paul James; her husband Edward "Skip" Honaker; and her siblings, Billie Jeane Quesinberry and Charles James (Jeepie).
She is survived by: her children, Tim Honaker of Bluefield, VA, Lisa Gilpin (Kevin) of Pulaski, VA and Mike Honaker (Janet) of Bastian, VA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Honaker, Jenna Honaker, Daniel Marrs (Jenna Bowling), Rebecca Sawyers (Josh), Ben Gross, Josh Gross (Jennifer), Luke Trent (Renée) and John Trent; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Gross, Elijah Sawyers, Corbin Sawyers and Hudson Gross; her siblings, Vicky Carroll (Larry), Karen Thurmer (Gene), Paulanna French (Earl), Melinda Wimmer (Barry) and Kim Akers (Ace) of Paul; and her sister-in-law Charlotte James. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mapleview Church of Christ. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
