He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Betty Frances Sawyers Pietrantozzi; his wife Carol Suzette Belcher Sawyers; his father Kenneth Sawyers, Sr. (Tina) of Radford, VA; his children, Andy Sawyers (Jillian) of North Tazewell, VA and Bethany Pettry (Robert) of Apex, NC; his siblings, Faye Gunn (Kenneth) of Hillsville, VA and Vic Sawyers (Becky) of Springville, VA; his mother-in-law Sue Belcher of Bluefield, WV; and his grandchildren, Maddy, Jaxson, Lyla, Luke and John.
