She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Cooper and Elzina Cooper; her husband Jack Wimmer; and her daughters, Vickie Walters and Geneva Sullivan.

She is survived by : her children, Kirby Wimmer (Polly) of Bluefield, WV, William Kyle Wimmer (Rhonda) of Bluefield, VA, Wallace Matthew "Mac" Wimmer (Kim) of Bridgeport, WV and Brenda Arnold of Bridgeport, WV; and her siblings, Charlie Cooper (Wanda Jo) of Whitewood, VA, Gilbert Cooper (Doris) of Whitewood, VA, Sam Cooper of Pleasant City, OH, Gertrude Addair of Pilgrims Knob, VA, June Matney of Fredericksburg, VA and Lovetta Lester of Whitewood, VA. She is also survived by fifty two grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Surprise Valley Youth Camp, 13 Woodland Drive.
