He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Edward McFarland and Virginia Margaret Lawson McFarland; and his brothers, Edward Lee and Eugene McFarland. He is survived by : his wife Pamela Kay Tibbs McFarland; his son Michael McFarland of Mitchells, VA; his stepdaughter Tammy Godfrey (Randy) of Bluefield, WV; his siblings, Phyllis Lewey of Bluefield, VA, Brenda Smith of Bluefield, VA, Sandy Sluss (Donald) of Bluefield, VA, Betty Boothe of Ararat, VA and Barnes McFarland (Hope) of Bluefield, WV; his grandchildren, Ashton Pizzini, Kaitlyn Scaggs, Christian McFarland, Issaiah McFarland, Holly and Noah McFarland; and his great grandchildren, Aeydin, Arianna, Antonio, Ace Pizzini, Millie Rose Scaggs and Kacen McFarland.
