He was predeceased by : his parents, Vivian Mills and Theodore Mills. He is survived by : his children, Regina Mills of Kentucky, Heather Mills, Larry Mills Jr. (Felicia Mills) of Princeton, Bethany Mills (Zach Crouse) of Tazewell, Paul Mills (Ashley Hypes) of Bluefield, Loretta Mills (Charls Roten) of Tazewell and Matthew Mills (Kayla Mills) of Tazewell; and his nephew Mark (Becky Kitts) of Bluefield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dudley Memorial Chapel (729 Virginia Ave, Bluefield, VA 24605). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
