She was predeceased by : her parents, Hattie Mae Jarmon and Frank Mack Barnes; her sisters, Janice Cornwall, Fracooistine "Francis" Kent and Cynthia Stephens; her nephew Farrell Kent; and her goddaughter Malika Davis.
She is survived by : her children, Steven Grey, Bryan Kent, Kisha Jones and April Barnes; her grandchildren, Jaylica Barnes, Taeviana Barnes and Seth Grey; her godchildren, Anna, Dwight, Jamie, Habakkuk, Paulina, Ashia, Alexandria and Lyric; and her siblings, Edgar Kent, Equilla Redd, Evelyn McAdoo, Regina Redd, Frank Barnes, Claire Barnes, Claude Barnes, Marie Cheeks and Mary Cruz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
