With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Scott of Bluefield, Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 90. As we bid adieu to Wanda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wanda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madge Nichols York and James Eugene York; her grandson Christopher; and her great grandchild Abby. She is survived by: her husband Jim O. Scott; her sister Mary Alice Stacey of Myrtle Beach; and her children, Kimberly (Mac) and Brian (Linda).
