He is survived by: his wife Alice Wilson Buchanan; his son Jeff Buchanan (Donna); his grandchildren, McKinley Webb, Megan Webb, Mike Whitt, Matt Whitt and David Alexander Buchanan; and his sister Nancy Elizabeth Buchanan of Bluefield, VA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church (1901 Virginia Ave, Bluefield, VA 24605). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
