He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Berger McRoy, Sr. and Violet Rhodes McRoy; his siblings, Gene Lewis "Beanie" McRoy and Karen Chandler; his wife Debra Tidwell McRoy; his sons, Mark McRoy (Rhonda), Alec McRoy (Deanna) and Ian McRoy; his grandchildren, Logan, Brock, Carson, Zachary, Madison, Jewell, Hailee and Laila; and his great grandchild Delilah.

He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Farley and Tammy Goodbar.
