He was predeceased by: his parents, Shorty Trail and Catherine Havens Trail. He is survived by: his girlfriend Helen St. Clair; his children, Missy Herndon (John), Tina Trail (Joey Larson), Todd Trail (Jan) and Wayne Trail (Karen); and his stepchildren, Michael, Pete and Renee. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
