She was predeceased by: her father James Willard Bowman. She is survived by: her children, Kady Grantham (Justin Grantham) and Spencer Dunman; her mother Mary Alice Bowman; and her siblings, Laird Bowman (Sarah Ann Bowman), Kent Bowman and Carol Barba (Gary Barba). She is also survived by niece and nephews, and many other loving family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to her church, Bethlehem Church of the Brethren in Boones Mill, Virginia.
