He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Montgomery; his parents, Walter Montgomery and Bessie Montgomery; his brother Curtis; his sister-in-law Christine Montgomery; his brother Dennis Montgomery; his son-in-law Harry Cundiff, Jr.; and his niece Judy McGuire.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Cundiff, Wayne Montgomery and Rex Montgomery (Carolyn); his grandsons, Kristopher Montgomery and Brian (Charlotte); his great grandchildren, Reyce and Malachi; his brother Dallas Montgomery; his sister-in-law Barbara Akers (Raymond); his daughter-in-law Anne Carter; and his great-nephew Curtis Lynn Dillon (Sarah).
