We bid farewell to Mildred Boitnott of Boones Mill, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 6, 2025 at the age of 101. Mildred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Barnhart and Minnie Flora Barnhart; her husbands, Goggin Jamison and Spurgeon; her son Jerry Jamison; her children-in-law, Bill Hicks and Diane Jamison; her siblings, Lois (Earson Huffman), Fred (Lois Barnhart), Ruth (Bennie Flora) and Carl Barnhart; and her in-laws, Anita, Tom Crowson, Clark, Marie Jamison, Ruby and Galen Brubaker.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Hicks, Peggy Nunn (Doug), Glen Jamison (Mary), Danny Jamison (Terri), Terry Jamison (Cindy) and Alan Jamison (Gayle); her stepchildren, Tom Boitnott (Pandy) and Linda Downing; her grandchildren, Jennifer Butler, John Hicks, Judah Jamison (Paola), Jeffrey Jamison (Cindy), Michael Nunn (Stephanie), Kevin Nunn (Amy), Jessica Flora (Tyler), Adam, Amy, Hannah, Sarah, Jared Jamison and John Boitnott; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Claire Butler, Teagan Hicks, Aubry, Ivy, Jade, Aidan, Jeffrey and Jerry Jamison; her grandchildren, Chris, Stephen, Caitlynn, Cora, Mackenzie, Emilee Nunn, Marleigh, Ellie and Andrew Flora; her brother Arthur Barnhart (Barbara); and her sister-in-law Mary Sue Barnhart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
