He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Benjamin and Teeny Blair LaPrade of Rocky Mount; his brother Benny LaPrade (Pat); and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Flora, Sherrard Flora and Donnie Flora.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Flora LaPrade; his daughter Donna LaPrade Greer (Mark); his grandson Parker Thomas Greer; his sister Carolyn Blanchard (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, Mable Flora, Connie Flora, Marie Flora and Barry Flora (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
