He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gibson and Beulah Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Joe Gibson (Dana) and Mackenzie Lane Gibson; his grandsons, Josh, Cody and Shane Gibson; his sisters, Charlotte Vandergrift and Loretta Flowers (Donnie); and his close friends, Barry and Deborah Rakes.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Crk Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24019).
