She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Garst. She is survived by: her brothers, Johnny and Bill Montgomery; her children, Fred (Joanna), Serina and Carey (Kari); and her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Fred (Trey), Riley, Cormac, Ambrose, Ella, Nathanael and Micah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boones Mill Volunteer Fire Department.
