He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Conrad Gentry, Sr. and Lucy Mae Perry Gentry; and his son Edwin "Eddie" Francis Gentry, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Faye C. Gentry; his brother Garland Conrad Gentry, Jr. of Culpeper; his sisters-in-law, Cathy C. Langdon (Phil) of Benson, NC and Anita C. Stephenson (Mike) of Four Oaks, NC; and his cousins, Fred Gentry of Winston, Salem and Johnny Gentry (Nancy) of Mountain Park, NC..
