Parson Jr.; and his siblings, John Hairston, Freddie McKenzie, Joe McKenzie, Margaret Billups, Ruby Jean Taylor, Rose Norwood, Sylvia Hairston and Sarah Hairston.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Parson; his children, Teresa Parson (Leroy), Daina Fizer, Cheryl Dianne White (William), James "Doc" Boyd (Camilla), Sharon Churchwell, Ronald Hackett, Deadra Hackett and Tonia Gathers; his grandchildren, Whitney Parson Easley (CJ) and Jordan Parson; and his great grandchildren, Micah, Mason and Josiah Easley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many family friends.
