She was predeceased by : her father Alfred T. Woolfolk, Sr.; and her brother Randolph Woolfolk. She is survived by : her husband David W. Carter, Sr.; her mother Susie Woolfolk; her children, Bridgette Carter, David W. Carter, Jr. (Steph), Michael Carter (Berenice) and Mark Carter (Rhonda); and her brothers, Alfred "Sonny Boy" Woolfolk, Jr. (Virginia) and Irving Woolfolk (Winnie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
