Kathleen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kathleen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Kathleen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Nelson Wallace and Catherine Elizabeth Foster Wallace; and her brothers, Tyree Wallace and Herman Wallace. She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tom" Daniel Lyons; her daughter Janet Clay of Scottsburg; her grandsons, Devin and Shawn Snead; and her brother Kenneth Wallace of Lynchburg. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home (703 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (805 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927). A reception was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tom's House.
