He is survived by: his father James Pettus of Boydton, VA; his wife Teresea Smith Pettus of Boydton, VA; and his siblings, Lindsey Pettus of Chase City, VA, Regina Hatcher of Chase City, VA, Cassandra Roberts of Boydton, VA and Carletta Terry of Bullock, NC. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Giles-Harris Funeral Home (1304 N Main St, Chase City, VA 23924). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
