He is survived by: his children, Tony Sperlazza (Nichole) of Raleigh, Joseph Sperlazza of King William, Clayton Sperlazza of Wilmington and Chelsey S. Dixon (Moe) of Mechanicsville; his grandchildren, Owen Sperlazza, Caleb Sperlazza and Evelette Dixon; and his sister Lesley Peter (Henry) of Florida.
