With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Tyler Clay Baldwin of Boydton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Clay and Adelaide Bowles Clay; and her aunt Emma Lee Clay Watkins. She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tommy" L. Baldwin; her sons, L. Clay Hudgins, D. Tyler Hudgins (Karen) and William T Hudgins (Nancy); her grandchildren, William C. Hudgins (Kara), Ashley Hudgins, Aaron Hudgins (Megan), Tucker Hudgins (Gallion), Jonathan Hudgins, David Hudgins (Jamie), Harrison Hudgins (Sarah), Connor Hudgins, Beth Ann Hudgins Anderson (Joseph), Taylor Hudgins and Thomas Hudgins; her brother-in-law William (Anne Clay Coburn); her half-sister Mollie Sellers; and her close friend Susan Jenkins. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; sister.
