He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi Myers Boteler; his parents, George F. Boteler, Sr. and Helen Bost; his sister Carol Anne Halso; and his grandfather Yahtzee.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Boteler, Raymond Boteler (Maria) and Sharon Janis (Stephen); his grandchildren, Pamela Boteler (Scott), Grason Wolfe (Jessica), Erica Smith (Jordan) and Mathieu Boteler; and his great grandchildren, Zoë Wolfe and Vivian Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Park (18599 US-1, La Crosse, VA 23950).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be in George & Naomi's honor at their church - Olive Branch Baptist Church.
