We announce the death of Demonte Opie (Bremo Bluff, Virginia), who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 20. He is survived by: his parents, Denise Holman (Eric) and Lemonte Opie (Monika); his grandparents, Daisy Holman (Dennis), Harry and Marilyn Opie; his great-grandparents, Susie Barnett and James Holman; his brothers, Daquarius Holman (Shakeria), Damorrious Holman (Morgan) and Jacobe Opie; his aunts, Amanda Opie, Katrina Holman and Vanessa Holman (Brandon); and his cousins, Jamal, Dajuan, Jay'vyn and Ariel. He is also survived by great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
