He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Richard and Elizabeth Catherine Smith Talley; his daughter Lisa Darlene Talley; and his brothers, David Glen Talley, Clyde Melton Talley, Charles Richard Talley and Floyd Chester Talley.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Elaine Eckard Talley; his children, Christopher Boyd, Daryl Melvin, Gary Paul Talley, Shelia Elaine Talley Barahona and Penny Lynn Talley Smith; and his siblings, Rodney Calvin Talley, Ruby Jean Talley Arnold, Mildred Mae Talley Hedrick and Lessle Catherine Talley Newell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
