He is survived by: his children, Michael Bliss (Cheria) and Karen Bliss (Kurt); his grandchildren, Cheyennee Parks (Jeremy), Tiyler Bliss, Brandon Bliss (Jessalyn), Elise Gunderson and Nathan Gunderson; his great grandchildren, Mattie Parks, Evan Parks and Beau Monte Bliss; his siblings, Larry Bliss (Manuela), Joann Detwiler, Carol Streeter and Mary Wallman (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Dello Stritto, Nancy Lewis (Robert) and Robert McCuin (Debbie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Bridgewater (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
