He was predeceased by: his parents, William Isaac and Lula Catherine Spitzer Raish; his wife Margie Elizabeth Bradley; his daughter Susan Bowman; his son-in-law Leon Alden Bowman; and his siblings, Leona Long, Ethel Cashell, Roy Raish, Richard Raish and Harold Raish.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Lorena "Lori" Key (late James) and Brittney Deese (Stephen); and his niece Patsy Hull (Howard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Brethren Church (178 Pleasant Hill Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made in Herbert's name to Bethlehem Brethren Church or a charity of your choice.
