We announce the death of Herbert Wichael (Bridgewater, Virginia), who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Herbert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Paul and Elizabeth Adaline Wichael; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his siblings, James, Ruth Williams and Mary Margret Parker; his wife Sharyn; his children, Lester Craig Wichael (Tanja) and Shay Wichael Kelley (Rick); and his grandchildren, William Zachary Walker (Emma), Lauryn Elizabeth Kelley (Miranda), Devon Adaline Wichael and Chelsy Marlene Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, home visits, or meal drop offs the family encourages you to donate to Mossy Creek Church or your local fire and rescue organization.
