She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Vandevander and Elizabeth B. Vandevander; and her husband James Lewis Howdyshell. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Driver (Danny) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Bradley Driver (Stacey) of Bridgewater and Monica Pangle (Carl) of Bridgewater; and her great grandchildren, Harlee and Reese Pangle.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Bridgewater (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
The family requests that in her memory donations be made to the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department in lieu of flowers.
