He is survived by: his former wives, Carol Martin and Lois Figgatt; his wife Jeannette Williams; his son John (Marci) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his grandson Scott (Megan); his great grandchild Charlotte; his grandchildren, David (Kelly) of Roanoke, Tyler, Drew, Reece, Paul (Kati) of Harrisonburg, Anna Carol and Eli; and his niece Debi Austin of Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions can be made in John's name to Muhlenberg Lutheran Church, 281 E Market St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
