We are sad to announce that, on February 3, 2026, at the age of 70, Melvin Raney Spencer of Bridgewater, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Melvin has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erie Lee and Mamie Pauline Spencer (Rakes). He is survived by: his children, Randall Spencer (Kim) of Bridgewater and Regina Armentrout (Ethan) of Weyers Cave; his brothers, Rodney Spencer of Franklin County, VA and Rick Spencer of McGaheysville; and his grandchild Skyler Randall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
