She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A. Newman, Sr. and Angelene C. Newman (Chapman); and her husband Ralph Harper. She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Burgers (Jonathan); and her siblings, Lawrence "Larry" Newman, Carey Newman (Gertie), Dwight Newman (Betsy), Darlene Newman and Marlene Key. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
