She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Bowers and Lois Kilburn; her husband Ernest Knicely Sr.; her stepson Gerald Knicely; and her sister Linda Layman.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Bayne (Clifton), Alan Knicely (Patricia), Harold Knicely (Terri), Ernest Knicely, Jr., Jeffrey Knicely (Constance) and Adam Knicely (Lori); her stepchildren, Beverly Parker and Larry Knicely (Barbara); and her brother-in-law Phillip Layman. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
