She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas George Smith and Jeanne Josephine Seghers Smith; and her sister Madeleine Walsh. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee Johnston; her children, Bryan Howe (Jackie) and Kimberley Johnston Webber (Keith); her brother Thomas Charles Smith (Claudia); and her grandchildren, Mathew Clemons, Derek Howe, Kelly Webber and Katy Petty.
