She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Taylor Blankenbaker and Jessie Clore Blankenbaker; and her brother Jesse "J. R." Rufus Blankenbaker. She is survived by: her son Jodie Smith; and her sister-in-law Ginger Blankenbaker of Stanley.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel (59 Edgewood School Ln, Madison, VA 22727).
