She was predeceased by: her father Roberto "Bob" Lundy; her stepfather Alvin Hagan Kane, Sr.; her mother Doris Marie Alexander Kane; her siblings, Alvin "Butch" Kane, James "Tommy" Kane, Charlotte Bunaugh and Clara Harris; and her grandson Tyree'King.

She is survived by: her husband Don Charles; her children, James Eric Monroe, Chad Allen Charles, Michelle Lania Charles and Anitra Tamu Daggs-Hurd (Allen); her grandchildren, Nina Campbell (Mohammed), Jasmine Bernard, Jamila Bernard, Jalicia Bernard, Jessica Madison (Charles), Darren Charles, Don A. Charles, II, Asia Charles, Casel Charles, Christian Moore, Kody Bonds, Cheyenne Bonds, Anisia Daggs, Quentyn Daggs, Jeremiah Daggs and Dontae Daggs; her siblings, Kathleen "Penny" Walker, Martin "Michael" Kane (Vanessa) and Jonathan "Jonny" Kane; her sister-in-law Ella A. Kane; and her friend Virginia. She is also survived by 19 Great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and 13 nephews; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
