He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ray and Emma Holbrook Branson; and his siblings, Bernice Branson Taylor, Nannie Branson Smith, Billy Ray Branson and David Lee Branson.
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Fink Marsden; his children, Leslie Clemmons (Lonnie), Stephanie Jessee (Chris), Shelia White and Jeff Branson (Marcy); and his sister Thelma Couch. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
