With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Johnson Flynn of Bristol, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Commodore B. Johnson Sr. and Mittie Belle Johnson of Elizabethton; her husband Norman F. Flynn; and her siblings, Ben Johnson and Linda Hogan.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Mink (Lisa), Joe Mink (Carrie) and Jeana Swanson (Greg); her grandchildren, Alex Mink (Noel), Tyler Mink (Rhegan), Kayleigh Nolan (Brady), Ben Mink (Maddie), Hannah Mutter (Justin) and Karley Bennett (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Marley, Abigail, Macy, Houston, Arden and Marnie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
