We announce the death of Candice Martin of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 69. Candice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wilkins and Joan Wilkins (Wardell); her former husband Stephen; and her siblings, Vivian Rice and Raymond Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Taylor (David) and Stephen Brent; her siblings, Joanie Evans (Gary) and Daniel Wilkins; her sister-in-law Nina Wilkins; and her granddaughters, Emma Grace and Candace Jayne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home- West Frankfort (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896).
