He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence George and Margie Marie Lampkins Steffey; and his siblings, George Clarence Steffey, Jr. and Shirley East. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Steffey; his children, Ellen Marie Dotson (Shawn), Kimberly Sue Hamilton (Chris), Clifford Julian Steffey, Jr. (Crystal), Richard Lee Steffey (Rachel) and William Shawn Jackson; and his siblings, Barbara O'Quine, Vanessa Phillips, Avis Wolfe, Button Steffey, Bob Steffey and Joe Steffey. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Castlewood Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
