She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter White and Barbara White; and her husband Tommie Gentry. She is survived by: her children, Janice Stratton and David Gentry (Sherri); her grandchildren, Joshua Mann, Alex Gentry (Jo), Nicholas Gentry, Casey Stratton (Nathan), Hunter Stratton (Lakyn) and Parker Gentry; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Kailyn, Adrienne, Wyatt, Miles, Maverick, Myah, Jailynn, Camellia, Niko and Lily; and her sister Judy Holt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Edna.
